RMS PTO Membership is not donation dependent, but the PTO is!

Your contribution funds the volunteer-led PTO’s operations, special events, and programs such as teacher appreciation days, end-of-year activities for all grades, family socials, and the online directory.

For the 2024/25 School Year, our goal is to raise a minimum of $5,000.

The suggested donation for the year is $30,

but we realize that this level of donation may not be feasible for every family.

Any size donation is welcome.

If every RMS family contributes even $5, we could reach our goal.

PTO Funds Support…

• Teacher Appreciation Days
  Teacher Appreciation Days are scheduled throughout the year and are the community's way of showing our gratitude to the teachers and staff. For these events, we purchase supplies and/or food and recruit volunteers to organize and run these important occasions.
  
  
• End-of-Year Activities
  The PTO supports each grade's End of Year Activities by providing food, supplies, volunteers, equipment, and potential site and transportation costs. 
  
  
• Family Socials
  Family Socials are a way for members of the RMS community (parents, guardians, siblings, and students) to make connections outside of regular school functions. Events include a Halloween rest-stop, movie night, and dinner at local restaurants. Funds support the advertising, set up, and supplemental food or rentals for these events. 
  
  
• Online directory
  The Online Directory enables students’ families to access contact information for those who have opted in.
  
  
• Evolving Initiatives
  In keeping with the flexible and ever-changing nature of middle school, the PTO also aims to be flexible and to respond to needs and initiatives as they arise, always with the goal of supporting the education and social development of RMS students through partnership with faculty, students and families.

• Attend Fundraising Social Events
  The PTO is planning Pizza NIghts at Ramunto's, RMS Movie Night at the Nugget, and Dinner at Sawtooth. Event notices will be included in the Friday Focus and in emails from the PTO.
  
  
• Show your spirt by sporting RMS Spirit Wear
  The PTO offers two Spirit Wear drives, one in early fall and one in early spring. Details outlining how to access the online store will be announced in the Friday Focus and in the PTO newsletter so that you can purchase spirit wear for your student, a teacher, yourself, or a future RMS Goose!
  
  
• Volunteer
