Join us, either in-person at the RMS Library or on Zoom,

to learn about all the PTO news and activities.

Here is the schedule for the remaining Monthly PTO Meetings (7pm-8:15pm):

Tuesday, May 14, 2024

Monday, June 3, 2024 (Note: this is a recently changed date)

Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week
May 6-10

Here’s how you can help

Donate gently used books as gifts for the teachers & staff

by Monday May 6th

  • Please check your shelves for gently used books:  fiction, non-fiction, cookbooks, etc  (hardcovers are especially nice!) to donate.
  • Drop your books, by Monday May 6th,  at collection boxes in the RMS entry foyer or in a box at the Norwich Public Library or Etna Public Library.
  • The books will be offered to teachers and staff to choose to add to their own libraries!

Write a note and/or have your child write a note to present to a teacher or staff member
on Tuesday May 7th
  • There will be a banner set up in RMS for students to write spontaneous words of support while in school.
  • We also encourage families to send personal notes into school on that Tuesday to recognize teachers and staff.
  • Students can present those notes directly, or they can be placed in a box in the office to be distributed into teacher/staff mailboxes.

Donate funds to support this, and other, PTO initiatives
(see below)

Thanks so much for helping us to honor our teachers and staff in these special ways.

If you have a some time next week in the morning or afternoon to help with set-up or clean-up for some of our planned events, please reach out to our fabulous RMS PTO Teacher & Staff Appreciation Committee Chairs, Emily Myers ( Emilypiercemyers@gmail.com) and

Kara Della Croce (kjdellacroce@gmail.com)
